On 10/25/2022, the Zameen Organization for Development and Peacebuilding held a Dialogue seminar entitled “Economic development and its role in enhancing community cohesion,” at its main center in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria
The participants in the symposium discussed several important axes in the economic and service fields and the role they play in strengthening social cohesion, as the economic situation in north and east Syria, and its repercussions on the file of societal cohesion, and the division of society into two classes, the first with a very high income, and the second with high incomes were highlighted. Low income level, as well as modern economic situation in the industrial, agricultural and commercial sectors
The activity was attended by a group of economic academics, farmers, factory and factory owners, employees and workers of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and self-employment owners of all Arab and Kurdish components.
