The forum sheds light on the reality of civil society organizations, and the problematic issues and challenges they face, as well as the nature of the relationship between them, reviewing the importance of coordination and strengthening it, as well as the relationship between civil society organizations and local authorities and the extent of civil society involvement in public affairs.
The coordination forum came out with a set of recommendations and proposals that would enhance the role of civil society and its participation in public life and public affairs, as well as mechanisms to develop coordination between them and with local authorities, such as the need to facilitate procedures related to obtaining licenses and approvals, within each region in north and east Syria. Giving more space for the practice of civil work, and carrying out voluntary initiatives targeting marginalized areas in a participatory manner among local organizations to advance reality and bring about change towards democratic transformation.
